CARL NEVES Obituary
October 10, 1939 – October 8, 2025
Carl F. Neves, Jr., a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and lifelong farmer, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Fresno, California, surrounded by his loving family. He was 85 years old, just two days shy of his 86th birthday.
Carl was born on October 10, 1939, in Laton, California, to the late Carl F. Neves, Sr. and Lillian Florence Silveira Neves. Raised in the heart of the Central Valley, Carl learned early the values of hard work, humility, and faith - principles that guided him throughout his life.
After proudly serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, Carl returned home to pursue his lifelong passion for farming. Working the land in the Hanford and Lemoore areas, he dedicated his life to agriculture and took great pride in continuing the family's farming legacy.
Carl was a devoted Catholic whose faith was the foundation of his life. He will be remembered for his steady strength, quiet kindness, and deep love for his family. His sense of humor, strong work ethic, and gentle heart touched all who knew him.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Sr. and Lillian Neves.
He is survived by his loving companion and the mother of his children, Pamela Neves his three children: Brian Neves (Lisa), Janelle Tyler (Jeff), and Stephanie Bolin (Travis). He was a proud grandfather to Justine Neves, Brian Neves Jr., Jadon Martin, Maisey Neves, Joseph Martin, Maurice Bolin, Olivia Bolin, Zach Maier, and Abby Tyler. Carl was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Maximus Neves, Aras Neves, and Tori Maier.
He is further survived by his siblings Marlene Macedo, Stanley and Pat Neves, MaryAnn and Frank Netto, Kenny Neves, and Karen Neves, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Carl's life was one of love, faith, and family. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church in Lemoore, California on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00am. Rosary will be beforehand at 9:30am.
