MARGARET RIGHETTI Obituary

We are saddened to announce the death of Margaret Louise Righetti, 97. She passed away peacefully on August 15, 2023. Margaret was born on October 28, 1925, to Bertha and Arthur Koontz in Woodston, Kansas. Margaret was a wartime bride and married to the love of her life, Angelo Marco Righetti, for 59 years. They had two children, Carolyn and Kenneth. She resided in Hanford for 64 years, where she was an active member of the golfing community and a founding member of the Lemoore Ladies Golf Club. She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with her family and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Arthur, her husband Angelo, her son Kenneth, and her nine siblings. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Lemons and husband Gary, daughter-in-law Helene, grandchildren Lorrie, Marc (Jenny), Patrick (Stefanie), Ryan (Andrea), and Kerrie (Eric), great-grandchildren Tylar (Jordin), Conor, Derek, Sophia, Sam, Alex, Chloe, and Kenadi, great-great-grandchild Annastasia, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Service, 100 W. Bush Street in Hanford, CA on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 10:00am. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, 264 Blythe Avenue, Fresno, CA.
