Mary L. Maciel of Hanford, CA passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on Sunday January 8, 2023 surrounded by her family at her home. Mary was born to Cipriano C. Martin and Mary B. Martin in Tulare, CA.

Mary graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1946. In 1948 she married the love of her life Tony G. Maciel, and they celebrated 64 years of marriage before Tony's passing in 2012. Mary liked to help her husband on the dairy and farm whenever she could. Their family was selected the Dairy Family of the Year in 2006. Mary was a fulltime mother and housewife who loved her family and grandchildren very much, especially when they came by to say Hi Av to her.

She loved seeing them all together laughing and talking on holidays and birthdays. Mary also enjoyed spending a few days every now and then with Tony and their family at their Pismo Beach home. Mary was a member of the Our Lady of Fatima Alter Society in Laton, CA.

Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary is survived by her 3 sons David and wife Debbie, Danny and wife Brenda, and Donald Maciel all of Hanford and daughter Diane Augusto and husband Eddie of Lemoore. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren Jennifer Pichurko and husband Steve, David Maciel, Jr. and wife Rory, Bridgette Lockwood and husband Kenny, Michelle Adams and husband Justin, Kevin Maciel and wife Ashley, Phillip Augusto and Anthony Augusto, 4 great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, one great grandchild on the way, step sister Delores Mello, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tony, her brother Joe C. Martin and sister-in-law Eva Martin.

We thank Mom's caregivers for the care and comfort that were given to her over the years.

All services will be held on Thursday January 19, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Laton, CA with the rosary at 12:30 p.m. and the funeral mass following at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hanford, CA.
