Alfred Andrew "Andy" Whiston, 65, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 6:38 PM Friday, July 11, 2025 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, MO. Father Greg Meystrik will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery in Hannibal, MO.
Friends and Family are invited to Andy's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Andy was born to Alfred Whiston and Juanita Schmalshof Whiston on December 30, 1959 in Hannibal, MO.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include four children: Jessica Haynes (Dustin), Ginger Whiston, Samantha Whiston (Armando), and Jeffery Whiston; three brothers: John Dunlavey (Sue), Luke Whiston (Marcy), and Dominic Whiston (Kristan); five sisters: Lina James (Danny), Amy Hudelson (Dennis), Monica Quisenberry (Mike), Bridget Karlinski, and Paulina Tramel (David); four grandchildren: Sadie, Adela, Kolby, and Kingston; a special friend, Lori Peters; and several nieces and nephews.
Professionally, Andy spent his life in the retail industry with many years as a route salesman with Lewis Baking Co. He finished his career as a produce specialist with Wal-Mart.
Away from work, Andy loved golfing, gardening, and sports. His favorites were the Los Angeles Chargers, St. Louis Cardinals, and WWE Wrestling. Following in his father's footsteps, he took pride in growing the best tomatoes and happily sharing them with everyone.
Andy was a Catholic by faith.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Haynes, Neil Johnson, Breck Tucker, Brad Tucker, Jason Whiston, and Jake Quisenberry.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
