Terrill Eugene "Terry" Fohey, 73, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 6:51 PM, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
There will not be any services.
Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.
Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.
Terry was born August 23, 1950, in Hannibal, MO to Raymond Fohey and Virginia Smith Fohey.
He was married to Sandra Perrine. She survives.
In addition to his wife, other survivors include his mother, Virginia Fohey of Hannibal, MO; two brothers, Jerry Fohey of Hannibal, MO and Denny Fohey of Hannibal, MO; one sister, Gaylene Crawford (Bob) of Hannibal, MO; and many relatives he loved dearly.
Terry was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Fohey; father, Raymond Fohey; grandmother, Laura Barr Smith; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leslie and Deloris Perrine.
Terry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Professionally, Terry retired as a Brakeman for Burlington Northern Railroad after many years of service.
Terry was an avid bowler. He started out bowling in high school and bowled as many as five nights a week. One of his greatest memories was bowling together in a tournament with his daughter Jennifer. Terry was very proud of being inducted into the Bowling Organization of Hannibal's Bowling Hall of Fame in 2005. Terry was a very devoted father and husband; he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Terry was a recipient of a donated kidney; in return he is donating to give others a chance at a longer life.
