Dale Hardman Obituary
Dale taught band in Yellville, where he met and married Brenda Keeton in 1975. They moved to Helena, in 1976, where he started a band program at Desoto School and had twins, Danny and Lanny in 1977. In 1987, they moved to Bergman, where Dale started a chicken farm and grew his family with the birth of Andi in 1989. Here Dale joined Bergman High School as band director, impacting students for over 30 years.
Dale's opus, or life's work, was to focus on faith, people, and music. He was a Christian brother, mentor, second father, jokester, listener, steady presence, and friend to many. He was passionate about music, farming, and community service.
He is survived by his sisters, Nancy and Glenda, daughters, Danette, Lanette, and Andrea, and six grandchildren. A memorial will be held at Bergman High School Fine Arts Building on March 21, at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bergman High School Band are requested. Mr. Hardman was a great band teacher very passionate about practice and discipline to obtain musical skills and bring honor to Bergman School. He made an impact on a lot of students, I can imagine him orchestrating a heavenly band to bring glory to God with enthusiasm and passion. He will be missed.
