Gary Grosz Obituary
Gary Grosz passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Lake Wales, Florida. Born on June 13, 1934 in Mitchell, South Dakota to Emil and Dora Grosz.
Gary grew up on a dairy farm in Parkston, South Dakota. At twelve Gary moved to Chicago. He graduated from Chicago Vocational School. In 1953 Gary went to work for United Air Lines as division manager for ten years. In 1963 he started at Carpenter Co. as a Plant Manager in Chicago. In 1976 Gary and family moved to Elkhart Indiana. Gary was instrumental in establishing the plant in Elkhart, Indiana. In 1980 was the Divisional Sales manager. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, and loved spending time with his family and friends. His favorite hobbies were golf, fishing and traveling.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ronald Grosz.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley, his sons Jerry Grosz (Maryellen), Ronald Grosz (Laura), Donna Murray (Tim), 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Wales, Florida.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice at 105 Arneson Avenue Auburndale, Fl. 33823 or Multiple Myeloma Research foundation at 383 Main Avenue, 5th floor Norwalk, CT. 06851 or Good Shepherd Episcopal Church General Memorial Fund at 221 4th Street South Lake Wales, Fl.33853.

Gary was a good Christian man and a fun guy to be with on the golf course. We played many rounds together at Elcona CC in Elkhart.
