Herbert Wendlend Obituary
He was born May 12, 1968, to Larry and Thelma Norene Gilly Wendland in Harrison.
Herby loved to visit with people, especially at Anderson's and Dollar General. When he wasn't aggravating people, he enjoyed riding around on his 4-wheeler with his dogs getting together with friends and eating a good meal. He worked over 16 years for Tyson and two years for the City of Harrison maintenance department.
Herb is survived by his uncle Jim Wendland, his adopted family: Russell and Lou Mahler, Joseph and Kerrie Mahler, Brody and Victoria Gutierrez, and Matthew Mahler, and a host of cousins, friends, and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15 (2024) at York Cemetery with Richie Brushia officiating.
Pallbearers: Joseph Mahler, Russell Mahler, Matthew Mahler, William Drewery, Kevin Jackson and Hayden Haygood
