Ruby Hicks Obituary
She was born August 19, 1933, at Bear Springs, Arizona, to William David Napier and Vesta Langon Napier. Ruby loved cards and has saved many over the years from family and friends.
She loved to quilt, garden, cook, and can. Family was the most important part of her life, and she leaves a large loving legacy.
She is survived by her children, Sam Hicks, Joe Hicks, Sandra (Cecil) Royce, and Mona (Donald) Berry; her grandchildren, Whitney (Jimmy) Hurley, Jesse Hicks, Christina (Chris) Henry, Mary (AJ) Jones, Brandy (Ronnie) Ohler, Emmi (AJ) Durant, Donnie (Lyndsey) Berry, and Ronnie (Kelsey) Berry; 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Glenda (Gerald) Brumfield, Cloe (Bill) Monk, Earl Napier, and Ashford Napier; plus numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Huey P; sisters, Joyce, Betty, Ellan, and Francis; brothers, Jack, Billy, Sam, and Robert; son, Tom; daughter-in-law, Cindy; and grandsons, Jimmy, Steven, and Scott.
Funeral service will be at 10 AM, Monday, July 15 (2024) at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial will follow at Denning Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday July 14 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are AJ Jones, AJ Durant, Donnie Berry, Ronnie Berry, Trea Ohler, and Jesse Hicks.
Memorial donations can be made to Denning Cemetery Fund, PO Box 701, Harrison AR, 72602.
