Willie Jones Obituary
The daughter of Jearl and Kate (Mathis) Bryan was born on Oct. 6, 1935, in Searcy County, near Woolum. She lived most of her life in Boone County and was a member of Eagle Heights Church for over 60 years.
Willie worked in the banking industry for many years. She worked at First National Bank, and retired from Community First Bank. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed reading. Willie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very outgoing and loved being around people.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dorvin Jones.
Willie is survived by her sons, Rick Jones and wife Sandy and Randey Jones and wife Tammy; three grandchildren, Katie Garrett and husband Josh, Brad Jones, and Kellie Manes and husband Matt; four great-grandchildren, Ivy, Ireland and Sterling Garrett, and Brynnlee Manes; a sister-in-law, Mavis Eddings; and several nieces and cousins.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral beginning at 10 a.m.
Pallbearers are Roger Edwards, Rick McCarn, Brad Jones, Josh Garrett, Steve Williams, and Matt Manes.

Willie and I considered ourselves sisters more than cousins. We were born at our Grandparents home near Woolum six months apart. Her father and my mother were brother and sister. My Dad, Taft Mathis was her Mother, Kate Mathis´ first cousin. She was my first playmate and we spent many summers visiting each other. One of my favorite memories of her is observing her read a book, listen to her favorite Cardinals baseball team and watch the Razorbacks .play on TV. She was a generous and caring person. I will miss her but looking forward to being together again.
