LANGRIDGE, Alan Lewis Alan Lewis Langridge, 72, husband of Florence (Kaminski) Langridge, of West Hartford, died Friday, (June 10, 2005), at Hartford Hospital. Born in Shreveport, LA, son of the late Leland and Lucille (Olano) Langridge, he attended Bird High School in Shreveport and graduated from Northwestern State College in Natchitoches, LA. He served in the US Army and was honorably discharged as 1st Lieutenant, Artillery. He was employed by the Aetna Life and Causality for over 35 years, retiring as vice president in Field Lease. He continued in the real estate field for two years with Cushman and Wakefield. Alan was a member of the Newington Ski Club, Catholic Graduates Club, Bel Compo and Rockledge Men's Clubs and Squires bowling and golf, and was a season ticket holder for the Hartford Whalers and Boston College football. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children, Marianne MacDonald and her husband Scott of Hingham, MA, John Langridge and his wife Amy of Arlington, MA; three grandchildren, Hilary and Luke MacDonald, and Erin Langridge; two sisters, Dorothy Cheron of New Orleans, LA, Phyllis Fricks of Denham Springs, LA; and a sister-in-law Jeannette Kaub of Baton Rouge, LA. He was predeceased by his brother Leland Langridge. The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Church, West Hartford. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours are TODAY from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
