Alexander "Sasha" Keylin

Alexander "Sasha" Keylin, 49, of Wethersfield, loving husband of Connie (Bazzano) Keylin, died Wednesday, (May 8, 2002) at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford after a brief illness. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, he was the son of the late Aron and Vera (Fagain) Keylin, he had resided in Hartford for many years prior to moving to Wethersfield. He was a graduate of the Technical Institute of St. Petersburg and had been employed by Sterling Jewelers, Wethersfield, as a goldsmith. He was an avid gardener and fisherman who also loved to read history. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Rockville Fishing Club, and Capital Shooting Club. He also enjoyed collecting Roman coins, stamps, Civil War memorabilia, guns and swords. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by a son, Daniel A. Keylin at home in Wethersfield; a daughter, Emily J. Keylin of Windsor; a brother, Vyacheslav Keylin and his wife, Inna of Newington; a sister-in-law, Dora Tringali and her husband, Alfio of West Hartford; a nephew, Alex Keylin; nieces, Helga Finlay and her husband, Tom, Delfo Tringali, Rachel Tringali; and many cousins. Funeral service will be Friday, May 10, 2002, 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Church of Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield.
