Larry Wibbenmeyer and I (Victoria Wibbenmeyer) were lucky to know Al because of my brother, Larry Flood. I have his CD he personally gave me and enjoyed hearing his music. We are so fortunate to have quality friends in our lives. I know he is up in heaven taking care of us.

Al was a great person who would do anything for you. He had a quirky sense of humor that sometimes caught people off gard and always had some great stories to share. He spent holidays with us and went biking and skiing with Larry and I. We love him and he will be missed very mucc!

My brother Larry Flood was one of Al's best friends since they met more than 20 years ago. They supported each other through whatever good and bad times came and I will always think of him kindly for being so supportive and steadfast a friend. Al was loved and welcome at all the family gatherings in Denver. He had a positive impact on those close to him; we were all fortunate to have the benefit of his intellect, compassion, and abundant laughter over the years.

Al will be missed, his sense of humor and advice on life's matters were always welcome and usually funny. He was like an uncle to us kids and could always be counted on. May his legacy live on through his music and the music he enjoyed. I will think of him often.
