LOOMIS, Alice (Sheldon) Alice (Sheldon) Loomis, 76, of Granby, formerly of Suffield, died Thursday (October 5, 2006). She leaves her husband Charles E. Loomis; three sons and two daughters, Benjamin and Heidi Loomis, Robert Loomis, David and Sharon Loomis, Linda and Joseph Clemente and Shirley and Greg Janzer; a brother, Robert and his wife Peggy Sheldon; a sister, Marge Phelon; six grandchildren and two step grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Marylettie and Paul Haas; and a brother-in-law, Richard Phelon. The Family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St., Suffield followed by Funeral Services at 11 a.m. at the West Suffield Congregational Church, burial will be in West Suffield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the West Suffield Congregational Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 26, West Suffield, CT 06093.
