Amanda Gagnon

1994 - 2018

Amanda Rae-Gagnon, 23, of New Hartford, passed away Monday July 30, 2018. Amanda was born August 24, 1994 in Bristol, CT, daughter of Daryl and Laura (Lozier) Gagnon. Amanda was her mother's "mini me" her "twin". She attended high school at Northwestern Regional High School graduating in 2012. She attended Northwestern Community College and Goodwin College with one semester left to graduate for nursing. She was a love of animals, loved the outdoors including hiking, hunting and fishing and shared these passions with her mother, father and sister. Amanda loved dancing, country music, and snowboarding. She was a free spirit, a kind and loving young woman who always put her family and friends first. Amanda had a lust for life and a heart of gold, she was a larger than life person who's smile brightened our lives and this world. She was a beautiful young woman both inside and out and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have the privilege to have been touched by her loyalty, faithfulness and integrity. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Alyssa Gagnon; her maternal grandparents, Daniel and Georgette Lozier; her maternal aunts and uncles, Rene and Patricia Raboin, Keith and Kristie Gauvin; her paternal aunts and uncles, Edmond L. Gagnon, Robert and Norma St. Germain, Cary and Lisa Gagnon, Priscilla Brunet, Manuel and Carol Ocasio; Darlene and Danny Hebert, Roderick and Joella Roalf numerous cousins and longtime family friend John Neil Konwerski. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Herman Gagnon and Carmen A. Gagnon Dubay and step grandfather, Paul Dubay.
