Amelia Kowalczyk Obituary
Amelia Kowalczyk, 92, of Burlington, widow of Stanley J. Kowalczyk, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 13th. Born September 28th, 1921, in Nutley, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Gryczka) Kodz. Amelia is survived by her three children, Stephen S. Kowalczyk and his wife Carol A. of Burlington, Thomas M. Kowalczyk and his wife Diane of Unionville and her daughter, Mary Ann Kowalczyk of Burlington, her four grandchildren, Ellen K. Narcum, Matthew T. Kowalczyk, Nathan M. Kowalczyk and Jack M. Kowalczyk and her all time favorite dog Glenda. Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Sunday (Feb. 16) from 4:00-6:00pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Monday (Feb. 17) at 9:15am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 10:00am. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
