Remember Andrew well. A joy to have known him and worked with him at the Wethersfield High School. A life taken too soon. Andrew did live his life!

I knew Andrew Nicholas as Mr. Nick, my English teacher junior year. But I also knew this man as someone who was endlessly kind, incredibly curious, unsparingly witty, and undoubtedly talented.
Mr. Nick was one of the first teachers at Wethersfield High School to truly foster and encourage my love for English and writing, and because of his belief in me and my abilities, I was able to experience the greatest joy of my life. I associate Mr. Nick and all of the lessons he taught me with the best experience I had in high school: traveling. While I was never able to go on a trip with him, he inspired me to have my own adventures and be courageous in the pursuit of my passions.
To all those lucky enough to have known Mr. Nick as a teacher, as a student, or as a friend, know that he will always remain in our hearts and in our memories. You will feel him with every touchdown the Patriots score and with every airplane you choose to board. Mr. Nick, I will think of you when I visit the Cliffs of Moher and when I publish a story in your honor. I'm so grateful to have known you for as long as I did, thank you for all you've done for me. Rest in peace, we love you.

Andrew (Drew)
I cant tell you how much we here at Arnolds Restaurant will miss you. You were always so upbeat, cracking jokes with Your buddy Frank Kofsuske while serving up the lobsters in the steAm room, making people laugh while you were suffering with this horrible disease. You always had a good word for everyone. We are all simply devastated that you have gone to be with the Lord way too early. Katie, Kellie, Andrew (Wright), Pam, Ed, Frank, and I just to name a few of your friends from the Cape (Arnolds) will never forget you. God be with you my good friend. May you finally Rest In Peace.

Dear Mary,
I was saddened to read of Andrew's passing. He must have been a remarkable young man. I was inspired reading his obituary, knowing he became a teacher, and led a successful life despite his life long disease. You and I taught together at Skinner Road School and I remember visiting you at your home in Vernon. Andrew would be on the bed and either you or Paul would be attending to him. Please know my prayers are with you and your family at this time. My love to you.

Mr. Nick,
Thank you for making English class fun and exciting and for sharing your energy, humor, and kindness with all of your students. You stand out above the rest. The love and dedication you had to teaching will never be forgotten.

Drew loved to swim in front of our Beach House. He even came over every January 1st and walk down to the jetty on our beach and jump in the fridge water as we all stood on the beach in our winter coats waiting for him to come out of the water with a big blanket to wrap around him. What a special guy. A little crazy but that is part of what we loved about him!
If I be so bold he told me that is where he would like to be placed.
We, the Vulliets would be more than honared to have him out front, with all welcome visit whenever they wanted!

Wethersfield High School list one of its best! As the founder of the CT Association of Schools State National Honor Association I was fortunate enough to have known Drew for many years. As the advisor for his high schools honor society chapter he encouraged student members to actively engage in state and national honor society conferences. He always emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and also helping others. I am saddened by his passing and wish to extend my deepest sympathy to family members and friends.

To the family of Andrew (Drew),
Drew was and is an amazing person. I have worked at the Wethersfield Board of Education since 2009. He was the most dedicated teacher I know and unselfishly gave of his time and friendship to everyone, especially the students and his co-workers. Drew knew that he had received a gift of life. He lived life to the fullest and made sure he shared his appreciation in every way. He was always positive and supportive to all of his students and coworkers.
My condolences to his family and friends who have been graced to know him and have him in their life. He will be remembered always smiling, always being very positive, and having a profound positive impact on all of us who knew him.
He served as an angel on earth to many of his students and now he is an angel in Heaven.
Thank you Drew Nicholas for all you accomplished and shared.
