SIMONELLI, Anita Marie
Anita Marie Simonelli, 84, of Wethersfield, passed away on Saturday (August 17, 2013). She was born on October 13, 1928 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Bartolomew and Madeline (Martocci) Simonelli. Prior to her retirement Anita was employed at the Travelers Insurance Company. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Lay Carmelites, a prayer group at the Church of the Incarnation in Wethersfield, and The Legion of Mary. Anita is survived a niece Trinita Bousquet of Round Rock, TX and her family; her cousin Alice Deep, who resided with her during her illness; and many other cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Anita was predeceased by a two sisters Teresa Napoletano and Catherine Simonelli.
Funeral services will leave Tuesday August 20, at 11:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Tuesday morning from 10-11:15 a.m. just prior to leaving for the church.
