RAUCHBACH, Ann Reese
Ann Reese Rauchbach, 81, of Southington, died peacefully Monday, (August 1, 2011) at the HCC at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Sidney Rauchbach. Born July 7, 1930 in Haworth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (VanDermark) Reese. Ann lived for many years in Mystic where she raised her family. She had a passion for playing the piano and was an organist at the Olde Mystic Baptist Church. She loved to entertain at holidays and family gatherings. She retired from UMDNJ in New Jersey. She is survived by her children, Carol Nevrivy and husband Jan of Southington and Steven Rauchbach and wife Crissey of Kaiserslatern, Germany; five grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Brian and Casey Rauchbach of Kaiserslatern, Germany, Nikki Nevrivy of Steens, Mississippi and Alex and Justin Nevrivy of Southington. She also leaves a brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Janet Yacker.
At Ann's request funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Resource Center, 1261 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT 06479. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N.
