Anna Rose

Anna (Galkowski) Rose, 91, widow of Joseph Rose, formerly of Wethersfield, died Thursday, (March 21, 2002) at a local convalescent home. Born in Norwich, Anna resided in Wethersfield for most of her life. She was a member of the Old Elm Senior Center and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She was a retired employee of 30 years of Arrow, Hart and Hegeman Co. Surviving are her brother, Steve Gale of Windsor; a sister, Rose Meehan of Plainville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 9:15 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. A calling hour will be Saturday, 8:45 a.m. until the time of service.
