Anne Bean Obituary

Bean, Anne (Fazioli, Robbins) of Old Saybrook, CT left the stage on June 1, 2023. Anne was born in Hartford on February 22, 1935 to Jeremiah and Eileen (O'Mahony) Fazioli. She attended local schools and Hartford Art School. She worked at G. Fox in the Display Department until the birth of her first child. She was active in the local theater scene, most notably with the Mark Twain Masquers and also with Oval in the Grove and the Trinity Jesters. She pursued her bachelor's degree from University of Hartford and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts/Theater. She was active in FAVARH and the ARC of Eastern Connecticut. She was her daughter's biggest advocate. Her love of theatre led her to start her own business as a make-up artist and worked at ESPN until her retirement.

She leaves her daughter Amy Robbins of Norwich, CT, her sister Eileen Fuller-Cartier (Bruce) of South Carolina, nephew Lawrence Kasten (Jenifer) and their two children of Scottsdale, AZ. and several cousins. She was predeceased by her son Douglas Robbins, her parents Jerry and Eileen and her sister Geraldine Kasten. Anne was a grateful friend of Bill W. A special thank you to Beverly Schryver at Apple Rehab for always going the extra mile. Memorial donations may be made to The ARC of Eastern Connecticut, 125 Sachem St., Norwich, CT 06360. A memorial service will be held at a later date. For tributes or messages, visit www.desopofuneralchapel.com.
