Anne Shirley GAUVIN

GAUVIN, Anne Shirley (Mason) Anne Shirley (Mason) Gauvin, 82, of New Britain died on Wednesday, (November 25, 2009). She was born in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Henry and Henrietta Mason. Shirley was a resident of New Britain for most of her life; she was a member of St. Jerome Church and the widow of Roland Gauvin. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her greatest joy was being with her family, she will be dearly missed by all of them. She is survived by her devoted children, two sons and three daughters, Kenneth Gauvin and his wife, Patricia of Berlin; Gary Gauvin of Southington; Janice Palardy of Ohio; Sharon Pelc of New Britain and Lu Anne Viola and her husband, Joseph of North Carolina. She is also survived by 11 beloved grandchildren and 16 precious great grandchildren who where her pride and joy. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 9: 15 AM at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10 AM at St. Jerome Church. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
