GOLD, Atty. Annette Elaine Pessin Atty. Annette Elaine Pessin Gold of Lauder Hill, FL, formerly of New Haven, wife of the late Atty. Marvin C. Gold, passed away Thursday (May 12, 2005). Beloved mother of Jacqueline Gold Platt of New York, NY, Patricia R. Gold of Cambridge, MA, Lindy Lee Gold of New Haven, and Lauren G. Brooks (Edward C. Brooks III) of Orange. Dear sister of Marcia Kagan (Nathaniel) of West Hartford, Atty. Roslyn Montlick (Benjamin) of Guilford, Atty. Sandra Gersten (Aaron) of West Hartford, Arnold Pessin, D.V.M. of Lexington, KY, and the late Harold Pessin and Lindy Feinstein. Loving sister-in-law of A. B. Pessin. Cherished grandmother of Stuart (Kathy) Platt, Michael (Lisa) Platt, Joshua Kroop, Jessica Brooks (Russell Neufeld), Jaime (Ryan) Lynch; also survived by great grandchildren, Rachel and Julia Platt. Atty. Gold was a graduate of Smith College and the University of Connecticut Law School. She and her late husband had a private law firm Gold and Gold, subsequently Gold, Gold and Bernblum. After her retirement she served as a referee in Small Claims Court in New Haven. She was a member of the CT Bar Assoc., Brandeis University National Womens Committee, United Order of True Sisters Cong. Mishkan Israel of Hamden, and The Woodbridge Country Club. Funeral Services in the Robert E. Shure Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven, Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. with interment services to follow in the Mishkan Israel Cemetery in New Haven.
