Mary, you and Bushy were one of my favorite parents' friends. You were always so kind and a special couple to me. I have the privilege of getting from my mom a picture of the "girls" all dressed up and ready to go out with your gloves and hats on from over 50 years ago. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.

My fondiest memories of Bushy is when we were kids,in the northend of Hartford,Bushy and my brother Tony were really close friends,me being 6-7 years younger and a brat, the two of them while watching over me would play pitching pennies(with my pennies).Bushy would win most of the time, teasing the heck out of me saying he was keeping his winnings and the brat that I was I'd cry saying" those are my pennies".Ofcourse he'd give them back.He loved teasing me. Than as adults whenever we'd meet, unfortunatley not very often,he'd always remind me of "the good old days".I was always very fond of Bushy,he was like another brother to me,especially when he married you, Mary,we became related, indirectly. He was a great guy and he will saddly be missed by all that ever had the privilege of knowing him. I truly want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you, your sons and their families. There are no words to express the feelings of your loss. I, my 3 sons and their families know all too well what that is,for 9 months ago we lost Art our loved one. Mary, I'm here if you need to talk or whatever you need, please contact me,860-667-0045.Fran(martinello)Ritone,Newington,Ct.

Seth, Mark & Gary,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm not sure if there was a day that went by that I didn't see your dad at the bakery in the 18 years I was there. He was a great man and always there to lend a hand or give advice. He will be missed by all. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Mary, Mark, Gary, Seth & Family,
On this Christmas Evening my thoughts and prayers are with you as I reflect on the wonderful times I spent with you all. From the days growing up on the horseshoe to the time at Epstein Bros. working, you were all a great part of my life and Arthur was there all along the way. As I lost my Dad almost 30 years ago, you were all there to support me whether you knew or not. Arthur, Harold , Jerry and the "Boys" taught me lessons I reflect on today.
My deepest condolences to Mary and you all.

Bushy was a remarkable man and will be missed by all. His talents were many and family was very important to him. He was a Justice of the Peace and way back in 1978, he officiated at my wedding to Ken. He counseled us the night before about relationships and the key to a successful marriage. His 64 year marriage to Mary is a tribute.
I was honored to be a cousin of his and will always remember the good times. Rest in Peace.

Arthur was right at the "core" of our family and his loss is very difficult. I enjoyed all of our little talks at the infrequent but enjoyable family gatherings. I shall look forward to seeing him again when it's my turn.

Dear Friends,
On behalf of all of his comrades in Post 45, Jewish War Veterans, may I offer our sincerest condolences on Art's passing.
Art was a quiet, gentle man, a loyal supporter of JWV, a courageous member of The Greatest Generation, and a mensch. It was a privilege to call him our friend, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
May his memory be for a blessing, and may he rest in peace.
