Barbara Carlone Obituary

Barbara (Milardo) Carlone, 87, of New Britain, widow of the late Roger Carlone, passed away Monday (December 5, 2022) at her home. Born in Middletown, she was a graduate of Middletown High School and Teachers College of CT (now CCSU) and lived in New Britain since 1958. Barbara was a member of St. Jerome Church of the Katherine Drexel Parish in New Britain and was formerly active in the St. Ann's Church Ladies Guild, was an avid reader, loved to shop and go to the casino with her girls. Surviving is a son, William Carlone and his wife Vilma of East Longmeadow, MA; three daughters, Julie Bouchard, Cindy Carlone and Vicky Aiudi and her husband Daniel, all of New Britain; eight grandchildren, Steven Bouchard and his wife Jill, Thomas Bouchard and his wife Kamile, Justin Bouchard and his fiancée Judy Bloom, Carolyn Aiudi and her husband Harrison Rutledge, Michael, Nicholas, Thomas and Jeffrey Carlone; as well as two great grandsons, Julian and Liam Bouchard; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Roger, she was predeceased by all six of her siblings. Calling hours are Friday morning (December 9) from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM at St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Road, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middlefield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
