Barrington Vincent Turner

Barrington Vincent Turner, 54 a native of Hartford, departed this life peacefully at home Thursday (January 23, 2003). Barrington known as B.T or Barry had an ability to make anyone laugh, which he made a part of his legacy. Born July 11, 1948 to the late William C Turner Sr. and Esther Emily (Lightfoot) Cole Turner, his loving mother. Barry was a former employee of Colt Fire Arms for many years, he also worked in food services for the Hartford school system, from which he acquired his education. Barry leaves to cherish his memories, his loving daughter, Tonya LaPresa Turner Williamson; two grandchildren, Taylor and Thomas of North Carolina, his loving first wife, Pat Turner of Bloomfield, and his fiance and soul mate Janet Henry. He also leaves his brother, William C. Turner Jr. and his wife Jocelyn of East Hartford; five sisters Nancy A. King of Windsor, Barbara Jean Daniels of Ellington, Beverly A. King of California, Carol M. McBride and her husband Roger of Hartford, Virginia L. Ferguson and her husband Oscar of Enfield. He was loved by 115 nieces and nephews "we will always love you uncle Barry," a host of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his brothers Wilbur J. Cole Jr., Robert Lamar Turner and a sister Betty Jane Lumpkin. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 31, 10-11 a.m. followed by the funeral service from 11-12 p.m. at Fuqua Funeral Home, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield. Burial will take place at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave., Hartford
