Bernard Kozlowski

Bernard Kozlowski, 84, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Stanislawa (Kirej) Kozlowski for 53 years. Born in Poland, son of the late Kazimierz and Monika (Radziwon) Kozlowski, he immigrated to New Britain in 1969. Bernard was a member of the Newington Senior Center and the Haller Post in New Britain. He was employed as a machinist for many years prior to his retirement. He was an avid soccer and hockey fan and enjoyed woodworking. His bookshelves at home were lined with the Polish books he loved to read. Along with his wife, he leaves his two children, Mark Kozlowski and his girlfriend Tina Guiel, Eva Robar and her husband Raymond, all of Windsor, and his two grandsons, Jason and Jacob Robar. He also leaves his brother, Stanislaw Kozlowski and his wife Halina and his sister Helena Lazuk all of Poland. He was predeceased by his sister Jadwiga Kozlowska of Poland. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 23rd, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, New Britain.
