Charlotte FREY Obituary

FREY, Charlotte Coreen Charlotte Coreen Frey, 3, died Friday night (September 3, 2010), in her home. She was surrounded by her deeply loving family as she died cradled in the arms of her mother and father. Charlotte was born May 14, 2007 in Beverly to her adoring mother and father, Meryl Faraco Frey and Scott William Frey. Charlotte proved she was a fighter by surviving a severe, global brain injury she received while she was being born. Despite facing profound challenges that grew more and more complicated, Charlotte fought on for over three years and touched the lives of everyone around her. Charlotte was a world-class snuggler. She spent many hours being held and cuddled by family members and friends. Charlotte loved to listen to music and to stories, to swing in her swing, to go for walks, and to go swimming if the water was warm enough. She loved to dance and do "Shake-a-Shake-a," and enjoyed watching Disney movies. She even got to go to Cinderella's Castle and ride "It's a Small World" when she went to Disneyworld through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. When she turned 3, she graduated from The Perkins School for the Blind Infant-Toddler Thursday group and Cape Ann Early Intervention. Charlotte was a "Fancy-Nancy" princess. She liked to wear bracelets and Silly Bandz, and get her fingernails and toenails painted and her hair done on "spa days." Charlotte was tall with strawberry-blonde hair full of curls, beautiful eyelashes, and deep blue eyes, She had the greatest expressive eyebrows, perfect lips, a cute little smile, and a sweet and patient disposition. Charlotte is survived by her little brother, William, her grandparents, Nick and Coreen Faraco of Barkhamsted, CT, and Brad and Sue Frey of Beaver Falls, PA. She also left behind her adoring aunts and uncles Andrew and Sarah Frey, Kimberly Frey, Erin Faraco, and Andrew and Nicole Ellrod. Her cousins Maddie, Jackson, and Aiden, as well as the rest of her family, friends, and nurses will miss her terribly. A funeral service will be held in North Shore Community Baptist Church, 9 Hart Street Beverly Farms, on Wednesday at 12 p.m. Visiting hours will be held at the church from 10 - 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Wearing color to the service is encouraged! (Charlotte's favorite colors were pink, purple, and anything shiny). In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cape Ann Early Intervention 111 Dodge Street Beverly, MA 01915 or The Perkins School for the Blind Infant-Toddler Program 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown, MA. 02472. Arrangements by Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com

To the family of Charlotte Coreen Frey I extend my sincere condolences and prayers. Although I do not know you I can feel the immence love and respect you had for Charlotte. I have had the honor and privilege of working with children, who I call angels from heaven, that gave the same love and spirit to their families and caregivers that Charlotte did. These children never know sin thus they are true angels given to us to learn from. May our Lord give you peace and joy as you continue your journey here with Charlotte's spirit guiding you. With prayer
