BERTASH, Constantine "CJ" Constantine "CJ" Bertash, 90, of West Hartford, passed away on Friday, (August 5, 2005) at a local convalescent home. Born in Sag Harbor, LI, NY, son of the late Casper and Susanna (Kavecka) Bertash, he lived most all his life in West Hartford. CJ was a World War II Army Veteran and was employed by Stanley Tool Company as a Tool Maker. He was a former member of Mountain Laurel Ski Club and was a communicant of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford. CJ is survived by a brother, Edward Bertash of West Hartford; three sisters, Bernice Bertash of West Hartford, Suzanne Kuchas of Windsor, and Jessie Bertash of Bloomfield; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, John Bertash; and three sisters, Alice Green and Mary Bertash. His family will receive friends on Sunday, August 7, 3-5 p.m., at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A private service will be Monday, followed by burial in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 705 North Mountain Rd., #G102, Newington, CT 06111.
