PERUGINI, Daniel A. Daniel A. Perugini, 71, of Pinecrest Drive, Prospect died Thursday, (June 17, 2004) at Connecticut Hospice. He was the husband of Beverly (Cohen) Perugini. Mr. Perugini was born in Pontclandolfo, Benevento, Italy on May 12, 1933, son of the late Joseph and Vitangela (Gugliotti) Perugini. Mr. Perugini came to this country and Waterbury in 1937 settling to Prospect in 1964. He graduated from Leavenworth High School and Mattatuck Community College with an Associates degree in business management. He also attended the University of New Haven. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a Production Manager for the Miller Company in Meriden for many years retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Pontelandolfo Community Club and a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Prospect. Besides his wife of 41 years, he is survived by two daughters, Dina Perugini of Barkhamsted, and Tracy Ruggiero of East Windsor, NJ; a grandson, Daniel Ruggiero; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Jackie Perugini of Naugatuck; a sister, Lena Therault of Waterbury; an uncle, Vincenzo Gugliotti; two aunts, Maria Concetta Gugliotti and Maria Grazia Gugliotti, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, including Robin Sills. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 21, 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church in Prospect.
