Dear Aunt Ruth and family,

Dad called me and told me cousin Dave died and the date brought me back in time. It was 40 years ago-- Dave called it soap night,(just before Halloween) and we "kids" were all naughty and followed Dave's instructions! While the adults sat around talking in the house, we were busy soaping and egging the neighborhood! Dave-- the little rascal always had an eye for mischief! Remember all the times he pushed me off my tricycle?

Some of my fondest childhood memories are the times we "kids" played together. I wish we could re-visit the past-- if only for a short time-- a time when Uncle Jack called me Kat-Kat and I was sleeping over.
