David J. Healey

David J. Healey, 51, of Plainville, passed away on Tuesday (October 30, 2001). He was born in Hartford, April 11, 1950, the son of Ruth (Cosgrove) Healey of Plainville and the late John Healey. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #2 of Bristol, the VFW Post #574 of Plainville, and the Bristol Fish and Game Club. He was a member of St. Matthew Church of Forestville and was employed by Imprint Printing of North Haven. In addition to his mother, Ruth Healey, he is survived by two sisters, Marsha Roy-Lemley of Forestville, and Jackie Cianchetti of Plainville; a very special longtime companion, Lisa Jonaitis of Bristol; three nephews, Daniel Roy, Michael Cianchetti, and Jeffrey Cianchetti; two nieces, Lisa Mandeville and Debbie Zakrzewski; and great-nieces and great-nephews. He also leaves three special pets, "Charlie," "Harley," and "Mandy." Calling hours will be TODAY, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, Forestville.
