Debra Canfield Senger Obituary
Debra Canfield Senger, 61, of North Port, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2016. She was born October 17, 1955. Deb will be remembered for her beautiful smile that would light up the room, her positive and spunky attitude, her caring and supportive nature, her love of the ocean and always helping those in need whether you were someone she just met or a lifelong friend. And, most of all, her friendship - there wasn't a person Deb met that didn't instantly become a friend for life. Deb is survived by her husband, Michael. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters, brothers and their families: Linda Garrison, Steve (Michelle) Canfield, Cherie (Paul) Chobot, Charlie (Bev) Canfield, Jim (Jennifer) Canfield; nieces, nephews and their families: Shane (Maxine, Jacob and Sydney), Tracy (George, Alex, Hannah and Oliver) Courtney (Kristin), Christopher (Ashley), Louisa (Joe, Andrew & Hunter), Joshua and Jeremy. Also Elaine Canfield, Doris Bachand and her best friend Judy Morse-Hoisington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Debra Canfield Senger to the Connecticut Humane Society (169 Old Colchester Road, Quaker Hill, CT 06375) or any local animal shelter, or Feed our Vets (P.O. Box 44, Storrs, CT 06268).

Everyone that knew Deb are going to miss her terribly. She was a great person and full of life and fun. I first met her at the Bach Dor when she was the manager and I bartended there. We kept in touch ever since then. Keep watch over us all.

Hey Debs, you and I were so different but we truly loved and respected those differences. I was always so envious of your easy way with people, you were so bright and engaging, everyone who met you, loved you! You were always up for anything, never turning down an opportunity for adventure. You were brave, generous, sweet, loving and kind. I was in awe of you. You gave people your time, you listened, the greatest gift we can give each other. I will miss you more than I can express.
