Diane Nellie Thompson, 79, of Bloomfield, beloved wife of the late Melvin Thompson, Sr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Born in Chicago, Illinois on May 25, 1943, Diane was the daughter of the late Samuel Johnson and Ermin Cannon. Diane leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Melvin Thompson Jr. and Melissa Thompson; a brother, Reginald Johnson; a sister, Kathleen Doyle; four grandchildren, Nayleen Rivera, Solae' Anderson, Philip Anderson, and Brooke Monroe Thompson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends. Diane's family will receive friends from 10am-11am, Friday, October 28, 2022, at Pilgrim Way Baptist Church, 19 Columbia Road, Windsor, CT 06095, followed by a Homegoing Celebration at 11am.
