My memories of Dominic go way back to when I was a small boy. I remember Dominic, my Dad and me filling up wooden bushel baskets with flatfish somewhere in the sound. I also remember hanging around the property when he was building the house and my Dad was helping him with something. I loved it there because it seemed as though the family was going to live in the woods. I loved the woods as much as Dominic. I took him fishing here in Washington shortly after my Dad died. We fished for cutthroat in my canoe in a lake near Spokane and for rainbow in another in the Columbia Basin. We also fished Rocky Ford Creek with little tiny flies. He had great patience. I don't know if it was the same visit or not, but Dominic, a friend of mine and I rafted and fished the upper Yakima River. He completely out-fished us. He was a stand up guy and a good man. His love of the wild always struck a cord with me as a boy and still does now that I'm 65 years old. Good bye Dominic.

Uncle Dominic was truly the most honorable person I have been so fortunate to have known. Kindness, love and always a big smile. My heart breaks for his family and especially My Auntie Loly. With love and prayers, Rosemarie
