Donna L. Tria

1946 - 2021

Donna L. Tria , 74, of Windsor Locks passed away peacefully on August 6, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Donna was born on August 18, 1946, in Springfield. MA to the late Dominick J. and Josephine A. (Romano) Tria. She is survived by her sister, Ann Marie Hoffman of Windsor Locks, her brother, Dominick J. Tria and his wife, Linda, of Ellington, her sister Doreen Tria and her partner, Russell Fiore, of Windsor Locks. Donna was a devoted and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, Adam and Jennifer Hoffman and their children, Ashley and Aiden of Windsor Locks, Danielle and David Lanz and their children Kyle, Carter, and Scarlett of Marlborough, and Michelle Tria of Vernon. Donna also leaves behind many relatives and friends that she loved dearly. Donna worked most of her adult life at Hamilton Standard retiring after 45 years of service. Upon retirement Donna enjoyed reading, baking and crocheting. She made countless afghan blankets for friends and relatives and donated many to Windsor Locks Social Services for those in need. Throughout her life, Donna also enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, and shopping. Donna's most cherished moments were spending time with all her nieces and nephews as they were growing up, always there to help take care of them and shower them with love. She continued that devotion to their children as well. Her loving ways will forever be cherished by those who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks, on Friday, August 27, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A time to gather at the church will take place from 9:30-10:00 a.m. prior to Mass.
