Dora D. Flynn

FLYNN, Dora D. Dora D. Flynn, 97, widow of Christopher J. Flynn, passed away Saturday, (April 21, 2007) at her home in Georgetown, SC. Mrs. Flynn was born June 28, 1909 in Hartford, daughter of the late John Patrick and Elizabeth (Lizzie Connell) Dooley. Mrs. Flynn resided in Windsor Locks for 45 years prior to moving to SC in 2006. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her two sisters, Lucy and Mary Dooley and her brother John Dooley. Mrs. Flynn leaves one son and daughter-in-law Chris Sr and Lorraine Flynn of Georgetown, SC with whom she made her home, one granddaughter and husband Donna and Ron Firmin of Willington, two grandsons and wives Chris Jr and Eileen Flynn of Myrtle Beach, SC and Kevin and Pam Flynn of Old Lyme, four great-granddaughters Abigail and Jessica Firmin and Madison and Lucy Flynn, several nieces & nephews including Jack Dooley of Newington, Gerry Dooley of Simsbury, Diane Hirsch of Windsor Locks and Geraldine Flynn of Windsor Locks. Relatives and friends will gather Friday at 9:15 a.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks with a procession to St. Mary Church, Windsor Locks where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mt.
