Ed was also a very active advisory board member of New Britain Assembly # 6 International Order of Rainbow for Girls ~ He was always there to help ~ from washing cars to cooking corned beef and cabbage. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for all. The girls all loved him as their Grandfather. We will miss him deeply.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I will always remember S.K. Ed as the backbone of the Grand Court, Order of the Amaranth. For the 15 years that he served as Grand Secretary, he supported and guided every Grand Officer who worked with him. He has touched so many of our lives on so many levels that his memory will never fade. S.K. Ed will always remain "Sweet in Our Memory."

In these moments of loss, we hold on to each other, sharing tears and prayers, and reflecting on fond remembrances. Ed has given so much for so many years to the Order of the Amaranth in Chatham Court No. 24, Grand Court and at Supreme Council. We honor Ed’s life and know that his journey now leads to everlasting peace. May you always find comfort in the cherished memories of your heart. “Sweet in our memory.”

S.K. Ed was always there to lend a helping hand. His dedication to the Order of the Amaranth was remarkable. I know he was invaluable to me during my year as Grand Conductress taking care of the printing for me every month. You will be missed by us all Ed. May you always remain "Sweet in our memory".
