I just learned of Ed´s passing and will miss him very much. We became good friends via state politics and he always had a crew ready to stand by EB, put up signs or go to the local eatery for the candidates I worked for. A legend truly.

Old school, and a gentleman, of a different ilk. Somewhat a fixture of the Niantic life not just an observer, but an active participant in trying to do what he believed best for his community. He treated me with kindness, and I wish more in the world were like he was. My heart is heavy for the family, as the loss is difficult at best. Take solace in the idea that he tried to leave the world a better place.

My condolences to Ed´s family. He was a great guy, full of energy well into his 90s, and a giant in Democratic politics in Connecticut. He will be missed.
