Edward Pytel

Edward Pytel, 65, of Wethersfield, husband of Maria (Jagusztyn) Pytel, passed away September 12, 2021 in Hartford Hospital. He was born in Poland on May 11, 1956. Edward worked as a HVAC Mechanic for Crest Mechanical Contractors. He loved soccer, watching the English Premier League every Sunday and followed Poland in the World Cup. Edward also liked cooking and enjoyed a nice cold beer after work. He will be remembered most as a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Besides his wife, he will be greatly missed by his children, Artur Pytel and Melissa Davis of Newington, Tomasz Pytel of Wethersfield, Aneta Bucior and her husband Eryk of Hebron and Magdalena Pytel and her fiancé Tomasz Kalecinski and their daughter Julianna of Willington. He also leaves his mother Genowefa Pytel, his brothers and sisters, Robert Gogoj and his wife Dorota, Jerzy Pytel and his wife Malgorzata, Maria Hader and her husband Stanislaw, Wieslawa Dziedzik and her husband Stanislaw and Renata Skowronek, as well as numerous cousins and friends. Friends may call on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Edward's life will be held on Friday September 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. All attendees are requested to wear masks at the funeral home and church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford.
