Mr. Rokita was my 6th grade teacher at the Hebron Avenue School in the 1960-1961 school year. Besides being a great classroom teacher, he also coached the basketball team - of which I was a member. But it was more than basketball he taught us. He taught us the lessons of sportsmanship, fairplay and team first over the individual. At the time we thought he was only teaching us basketball, but it was lessons for living
My deepest sympathies.

I was very sad to read that Mr. Rokita had passed away. I was a former student of his in the 6th grade. We were the first class, at the time, in the newly constructed Hebron Avenue School. He was a wonderful teacher and I have many, many fond memories of him. Please know that I am thinking of your family and send deepest sympathy.
