Stephen - we were all extremely lucky to know Elly and call her a friend. She was a delight to know and to share our mutual highs and lows. Her spirit is around you and Peter and I know you feel it. I am an old friend who worked with your wife and Stephanie at the Hartford. But I have since moved to Arizona in 2003.
I remembered when we used to talk about how our children would look. We would laugh that we didn't want a child with a small head and a big smile like we all had. LOL The Christian that I am I made sure we ended our conversation knowing that if we leave it to God then the child that God sends us be perfect in our eyes. He did just that because Peter is as beautiful as Elly imaged. I know this is a very difficult momement but please continue to seek God for guidance and help.

Let us pray for Elly that she may now enjoy the abundant and Eternal life of Christ and be counted among the citizens of Heaven.

This rain has been tears from Heaven showering down around us all. I don't believe I have heard a story more tragic. Such a well-liked, beautiful, young woman on the cusp of motherhood . . it should never have happened, it's just so unfair. My very deepest condolences to all of you. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Elly's passing. I have been trying to find her online for years. I was hoping to reminisce about our times as children at Nanni Drive. I have several pictures of Elly, Jon and I playing. I will never forget the plays we put on for our parents, playing indians in the woods (starting fires) and catching tadpoles in the swampy area at the end of the building.
