Elizabeth Etienne Obituary



Elizabeth (Sokolowski) Etienne, 92, of East Hartford, the beloved wife of the late John Etienne died Tuesday, January 30, 2018. She was born and raised on Old Farms Rd, Simsbury the daughter of the late Peter and Odasio Sokolowski. Elizabeth married John and moved in East Hartford over sixty years ago where they rasied their family. Elizabeth loved gardening, bowling and her occasional trips to the casino. She is survived her son Raymond Etienne of Glastonbury, her daughter Denise Stevens of Fairfax, VA and her grandson Ryan R. Etienne of Glastonbury. Elizabeth was predeceased by four sisters and five brothers. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave. Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Family and friends may call prior to the service from noon till 1:00pm. For online condolences please visit www.mulryanfh.com
