Dearest Betsy & Larry,

I have just heard the news of Elizabeth and my deepest sympathies go out to you both, her daughter and to the family.

I met Elizabeth about ten yrs. ago through my father and I remember hanging out with her and playing games in her room. She was a beautiful girl back then and I am sure she blossomed into a beautiful young woman.

I will never forget her, her laughter or her smile.

May GOD help you overcome through this loss and bless you and the rest of the family.

To my cousin. Our family is not that close but when we are needed we are there. Last time I saw you it was long ago. But I remember it like it was yesterday. My cousin who had grown up to be such a pretty woman. You will be missed regardless of the situation. My blessings go to you as you look down on your beautiful daughter and family. My tears have been for the questions that i would like to be answered. Your mother is a strong woman and I have faith that she will continue to do so for the rest of the family members.

I did not personally know Elizabeth. I did however talk with her briefly at a part time job I have. I rembered her because of the pretty little girl she was with whom she called Jay. I also rembered her green eyes. It's so sad to see such a beautiful young mother leave this way. I can relate to what your feeling. I lost my cousin to violence. Hold on to the wonderful memories of Elizabeth. God will see you through this.

To Elizabeth's family:

Hi, I met Liz in about 8th grade and also her cousin Melissa. We all had gym together.After a few years we lost contact,but then she came to Bulkeley. I was the first familiar face she saw, after that we sat in lunch together everyday. Then she used to come to my job everyday to shop with her daughter. I miss you girl. I wanted to be there for your wake, but I was to scared, so I sat home and prayed to God for your family and beautiful daughter. You will be missed.

To Elizabeth's Family & Friends

I did not know Elizabeth but I do know of the pain, anger, and great sense of loss you all are feeling. I to lost my brother in a very tragic way and I understand

what you all are going through. It saddens me to see such a beautiful young mother leave this earth the way she did. Please always keep in mind that she has gone to a better place where no one can ever hurt her again and where she can watch over all of you and her baby girl. She will always be with all of you. Every morning as we entered the daycare, Liz's face would greet us, giving my son a big hug and kiss. She would say " Jayleah and Isaiah are going to hook-up when they get older". I'll be late some mornings just because we would talking about "things" nothing particular, just conversation. Liz will be truly missed, she was so warm-hearted and kind. May the Lord bless your families and Keep you all in the best of spirits, mentially as well as physically , during this time of sadness.

I take my daughter, Shayna to the daycare that Liz worked at. She was the first person I would see everyday when I came in. She always had a bright smile & always called me Hon. She took it upon her self to start doing Shayna's hair. Because Shayna's hair is just like hers. She kept asking me to come over on the weekends. Because we were both single parents, and both alone. I will always regret not taking her up on her invitation. I feel that I missed out on a great opportunity to get to know a wonderful person. But, from the first time I met her, I knew she was special. I cannot begin to say how sorrowful I am for your loss. But also a loss of what could have been. The world is a little colder and emptier without her presence. I still expect to see her smiling face when I walk into the daycare. Actually, now that I think of it. I always will see her standing there, smiling & welcoming me & my daughter.

Liz worked at the day care my son attended. My son was not in her class but we saw and spoke with her everyday. She was a beutiful and warmhearted young lady and as happy as can be everyday. The kids loved her and she was always willing to help or give encouraging words. My thoughts and prayers go out to her immediate family and her extended family at the day care. They all loved her at work and miss her dearly. I hope God gives everyone the courage and strength to go forward but to understand we will never forget her.

Dear Elizabeth;

We were best friends when we were young and growing up. I missed out on seeing you become a bright and beautiful young woman, but I'm sure those who did get to meet you will remember you for what I knew you to be. I'm sure your family will fill Jayleah in on your wonderful life and how you were loved by everyone you met. My only regret in our friendship is that I didn't stay in touch and now your gone, but the memories I do have our wonderful and I will cherish them forever. I want to thank-you for becoming my best friend you will stay in my heart forever. I will always think of you and love you until time ends. Good-Bye for now. Rest in Peace. Tamika
