Emily Darico Obituary
Emily D. Darico, age 96, died Thursday, February 22, 2018. She was born in Rockville and was a lifelong Vernon resident. She attended local schools and worked for the F.W. Woolworth Store in Rockville as well as area supermarkets. She was predeceased by her parents and her four brothers, Morris, Andrew, William and Peter. She leaves five nieces and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville at10 AM on Thursday, March 1, 2018, followed by burial in Grove Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org or to the Visiting Nurse and Health Services of CT, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066.
