My wife and I go to the crabshack quite often. Many months ago Enza offered my wife her own sweet potato when my wife found out she could not order a sweet potato on the menu. She was so kind to do that and we were overwhelmed by her thoughtfulness. What a shame she had to go so soon. Every time we had dinner there we looked forward to seeing her. We will miss her.

I don't think I've experienced loss like this for someone I didn't really know. Enza, gosh we miss you so!
Tonight my husband and I walked in to Jay's and almost
Immediately knew something was wrong or missing and my husband actually said it out loud. Even the walls miss your essence! I will miss telling you how we snuck away from the kids to have some alone time and music. Now we know how to order a fine Tuna steak because of you. You were so graceful and kind!!! Alas heaven is blessed to have you. Joe, our hearts go out to you and the kids. May the peace of our Heavenly Father encompass you perpetually. Enza was a gem!!! Our buzzing bee, with the killer smile and warm, kind personality. Miss you loads Enza sweetie! Much love.

When I first met Enza at the Crab Shack, I came alone. She asked my name and started up a conversation. I arrived that day feeling sad and lost and left feeling like I gained a new friend. Every time I went back to the Crab Shack, she remembered my name and joked that I was her best friend. The last two times I went there, I didn't see her; I wondered about her. I went there this past Sunday and found out that she passed away. I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss. She made a difference by the way she treated people and made them feel special. I will miss her and remember her fondly although I didn't know her well.

Shocked is such an understatement. Met you at J's and knew you for such a short time. It is so hard to comprehend how someone so young and beautiful, inside and out, and appeared to be so healthy could suddenly be gone. I will always regret not making it to J's over the last several months. I will always remember your amazing energy, your bright smile, your ability to light up a room, and much, much more. The hour drive to sit at your bar on Thursday evenings was always worth the effort. Yes, I enjoy Liviu's drumming and most of the talent he brings with him but of all the places I've seen him your's was the only bar I ever chose to sit at. You spoke from the heart with so much love about your two sons and introduced me to your oldest once. My heart breaks for your two boys, losing a mother is so very hard, especially at their tender age. Your parents; burying a child just is not suppose to be. Your sister...it must be hard for her. I remember how you smiled when you talked of her. You told me I would like her and that she had more of your Mom's features and you more of your Dad's. I saw a picture of you and your Mom together and I can see a lot of your Mom's features in you. I will forever regret not printing the pictures I took of Roberto Morbioli playing his guitar for you last November 4th on your 45th birthday. I know you hated the thought of being 45, but you could easily pass for a decade or more younger. I know you enjoyed looking at the pictures on my phone and we all enjoyed a piece of the cake your friend brought you that Thursday. I enjoyed a piece of the cake you shared with me that your family brought in that Friday when I stopped by on my way to see Roberto and Liviu at the Tipping Chair. I missed them, but not that cake, the one they always got you from that Italian bakery on Franklin each and every birthday. Such a loving family and so many friends (some of which I got to meet), not just J's Crab Shack customers. Heaven is now a better place and Earth a bit sadder and lonelier place. May your family take comfort in all the happy, loving memories they have of you of which I am sure there are many. R.I.P. sweet, sweet lady. Now, you really are an angel Enza.

To the Entire Family and Dear Friends of Beautiful Enza,
I was so sad to learn of Enza's passing. I just found out today. I use to work out with this beautiful Angel on Earth at LA Fitness when they first opened. Many times with my elderly mother's health troubles I'd check in with her and she'd always have us in prayer. I cannot imagine the enormous loss to you all. Heaven has a beautiful Angel, but far too young. She was beautiful inside and out. Her love will live on forever in all your hearts. My deepest Condolences,

Enza, we met many years ago at Judy's beauty parlor in Rocky Hill and then again at Dave's jewelry store. You were my underclassman in South Catholic and I didn't know that until just now. I even asked your sister how you where doing from time to time. But, what bothers me the most was that you and I did not recognize each other when Ed and I met you at Casa Mai's and Jay's Crab Shake. We could of had some conversations at those times. You were beautiful when I first met you, and Ed and I thought you were when we ran into Joe and you at Casa Mai's. May God take you in his arms.
