Today, it has been one year since you crossed over to a new world. This was the saddest day of our life, losing you.
For all that knew Erik, he was a wonderful gentle soul. He had a great sense of humor, a quiet man, but always had us and his daughter in the forefront of his mind.
He was a wonderful child growing up, lots of fun. He was a great student, never to bring a book home to study, however earned A's & B's. Graduating from the Culinary Institute in New York, he was a very talented chef. As a dad he was a very loving daddy to his Madison. The light of life shown in his eyes each day he saw her. He always had Maddie's best interest in mind. Always gentle with her, loving to her.
We love and miss you so much, words cannot explain our pain of you not being here. I know you will be watching over Maddie to make sure she is protected throuout her life. She loved her daddy more than life. It was very apparent when you would see the two together.
I know you are in a better place Erik, where you can acomplish whatever you want to do. Love always and forever mom. XXXXXOOOOO and Dad.
