Essie Harrison Obituary
Mrs. Essie Mae Harrison departed her earthly life peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Bloomfield Healthcare Center. She was born March 25, 1923 in River Junction, Florida and was the daughter of Thomas J. Brooks Jr.(Dora Lee) and Dora Walker Freeman (Amos). She was predeceased by her husband Perry Harrison and her daughter Ruby L. Robinson. Survivors include her children Benjamin Harrison of Pinellas Park, FL; Herbert, Drucilla and Cynthia Harrison all of Bloomfield; son-in-law Joseph Robinson Sr. of Bloomfield; brother Herbert Brooks of Atlantic City, New Jersey; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. A private service will be held at Carmon Community Funeral Homes and her funeral will take place at St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Calvary, Georgia.
