KLIMAS, Esther J. Esther J. Klimas, 92, formerly of Glastonbury, died on Sunday, (March 19, 2006) at the Gladeview Health Care Center in Old Saybrook. She was born on February 25, 1914, in Boston, the daughter of Salvatore and Clementine Chilone. She was the widow of Walter J. Klimas, Jr. Mrs. Klimas was formerly employed as a policy reader at the Travelers Insurance Co., in Hartford. She is survived by her sons Lawrence Levesque and his wife Katherine of Vernon and Naples, FL; Randall Klimas of Pawcatuct and Bud Klimas and his wife Pam of Old Lyme; her daughter, Karen Foley and her husband Claude of Old Lyme; her brothers Carmen Chilone of Meriden and Conrad Chilone of Pennsylvania ; her sister Bertha Gagliardi of California; her grandchildren Doug and Brian Edwards; Mark, Keith, David and James Levesque; Michelle Walsh and her husband Liam; Michael Klimas; Kevin Klimas and his wife Jodi; numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Edwards. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat. at 11 a.m. in The Church of Christ the King, McCurdy Rd., Old Lyme. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gladeview Health Care Center, 60 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
