FIASCHETTI, Ethel Irene Ethel Irene Fiaschetti, 98, a resident of Wethersfield Health Care Center, formerly of Glastonbury and Bristol, passed away at Hartford Hospital on Wednesday (August 4, 2004). Born in Ticonderoga, NY on July 10, 1906, she was a daughter of the late George and Marquerite (Thompson) Fiaschetti. Mrs. Fiaschetti, sometimes known as Ethel Fisher was a kind gentle woman who loved her family very much and was greatly loved by her family. She was truly a wonderful woman and will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Marjorie Fiaschetti of Manchester; her sister, Doris C. Huchro of Elizabethtown, NY; her grandchildren, Mrs. Carrie Robinson and her husband Douglas of Manchester, Michael Fiaschetti and his wife Cheryl of South Windsor, Robert Cross of Manchester, Tammy Cross of New York City; her dear friends, Dorothy and John Cleaves of Glastonbury; and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fiaschetti was predeceased by her husband, Dominic Fiaschetti of Bristol and two sisters, Laura M. Ledger and Vera V. Ida both from upstate New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, Bristol. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Bristol. Friends may gather at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville on Saturday, from 9-9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
