KUNDRA, Evangeline Joan (Kelly)
Evangeline Joan (Kelly) Kundra, 88, of Bloomfield, beloved wife of the late Andrew Kundra, passed away Saturday, (July 6, 2013) at her home. She was born in Granby on March 27, 1925, daughter to the late Edward and Rose (Popeller) Kelly of Tariffville. Van, as she was affectionately called by family and friends, attended local schools in Simsbury and after high school graduation went to work for Veeder Root in Hartford until retirement. After she and Andy married, they settled in Bloomfield where they lived for over 50 years. Van and Andy were avid bowlers and members of the Golf Club of Avon where they enjoyed countless rounds of golf with their many friends. She leaves a brother, Edward Kelly and his wife Gladys of Simsbury and many nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 10 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor to be followed by a mass of Christian burial, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield.
